Short description of Project idea: | To setup an information system on labour-market issues, on training, qualifications and job opportunities in the common cross-border area of the countries Latvia, Estonia and Russia, by designing, developing and integrating a multilingual online-information portal to compare job profiles as well as vocational and advanced training initiating this way a cross-border transfer of knowledge and experience by network activities.: |

Main project activities and / or results: | The project aims to achieve long-term labour market effects: • the increase of cross-border mobility; • the reduction of unemployment through multilingual availability and transparency of job prospects; • the increase of the number of trainees through trainings/educations also covering the neighbouring countries. Multilingual online-information portals designed, developed and integrated. Indicators of achievement: one web platform and all information material in the 3 languages (Latvian, Estonian, Russian), additionally several informations are available in English. Studies and analysis on the cross-border labour market elaborated: • at least 150 job profiles studied; • at least 60 researched information on recognition of qualifications; • one study on labour market development within the Region; • new active cross-border networks developed; • better visibility on EU and project objectives in the Region and of project results. |
