| Short description of Project idea: | Latvia lies at the western fringe of the East European Plain. Wedged between the other two Baltic States – Estonia in the north and Lithuania in the south, though politically affiliated to the Nordic countries, is geographically right in the center of Europe. In the east Latvia shares a continental border with Russia, and in southeast – with Belarus. SIA"Hansa Silvestrs" project idea is to develope tourism activities for the improvement of the region’s competitiveness by utilising its potential and beneficial location in the cross roads as well to make improvement of energy efficiency and promotion of renewable energy sources.: |
