TOUR: Latgale region in Latvia on board of the national air company AirBaltic

New travel guide „Latgale unites!” issued within tourism cross border cooperation project „Tour de Latgale & Pskov” whole month of March 2014 is available for travellers on board of plains of the national air company Air Baltic. Within a month guide will be available for general 3140 Air Baltic flights directing to 41 various world destinations. The new travel guide cover is decorated with Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 contest winner Alice Miškovskas picture.


„The tourism industry is rapidly developing in the Latgale region,” notes Chairman of the Latgale Planning Region Development Council Aldis Adamovich, „we have attractive sites to show and to be proud of; we strongly encourage everyone to get to know Latgale nature, history, tradition, and experience the peace prevailing here! Warmly welcome to explore the Latgale!”

Travel guide includes information about cultural tourism and recreation, Latgale natural resources, craft traditions, Latgale culinary tourism miracles and the region's newest tourist attractions.

The present guide will be interesting not only for the traveller who wants to obtain information about the Latgale region; it will be interesting reading for those who are already familiar with Latgale. A variety of interesting facts about the region of Latgale, glamorous and detailed descriptions of tourist attractions, as well as craft stories are included in this travel guide.


Distribution of the travel guide “Latgale Unites!” in Air Baltics airplanes are in accordance with signed with Air Baltic paid service contract.
