The European Cooperation Day 2014 contest videos showcased at the Open Days Cinema in Brussels

A selection of 90 videos submitted to the European Cooperation Day video contest ‘Border issues, border solutions’ were displayed during the Open Days on 8 and 9 October 2014 at the Committee of the Regions of the European Commission Cinema room.


 


Among them ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme Video (third place by jury in ENPI category) and 3 Project’s videos - EstRusFortTour-2 (second place by jury in the ENPI category), E-archive and LSG Development.



Also the video of  Project Exhibition during the Programme Annual Event in Gatchina, in June 2014 took part in the competition.



Videos are highlighting the results and benefits of cooperation in the European Union and across the borders. The level of participation in the European Cooperation Day video contest ‘Border issues, border solutions’ was impressive: 215 videos were received and 15 060 votes were cast on the EC Day website for the people's choice awards.

The four award winners (two public choice awards and two jury awards: one for the CBC, IPA CBC, transnational and interregional programmes or projects and one for the ENPI CBC programmes or projects) were handed their awards during the kick-off event of the campaign in Milan on 16 September. http://www.estlatrus.eu/eng/news/best_enpi_videos_awarded_in_mi


 

During few hours visit at the Cinema Room on 8 October one could hear Estonian, Latvian and Russian languages and view all four ESTLATRUS videos, as well several of the Estonia-Latvia CBC Programme videos including episode of the documentary film, and promotional video of the ENPI Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus CBC Programme.
