Project partners Malnava College, Pskov Agricultural College and Academic Park jointly participated in the 20th International educational exhibition SKOLA 2014 that took place on 28 February - 2 March 2014 in the capital of Latvia - Riga.

This was the first time the project partners as a partnership took part in the exhibition with the joint exhibition stand and joint approach. They provided information to visitors about improved vocational training programme in transport and logistics, new study module "Logistics", and distance learning tool. Malnava College provides higher vocational education in transport and logistics. Pskov Agricultural College provides vocational education in the same field. The upgraded vocational training offer will be already available in study year 2014/2015 for those students who decide to choose any of these training institutions and who are interested in obtaining education and qualification in transport and logistics.

The improved higher vocational study programme contains such study courses as "Motor engineering", "Vehicle exploitation and diagnostics", "Vehicle structure", "Vehicle electronics" etc. Project partners all together work on improving vocational training offer, supported by education experts. The needs of transport and logistics sector as well as needs of labour market were taken into account while developing upgraded training offer.

As exhibition staff reported, there were many visitors interested in getting information on the educational offer, who approached the project stand for detailed information. The visitors were informed about vocational training opportunities in Malnava College and Pskov Agricultural College and happy to receive the updated training information. Project partners - lecturers and students from Russia and Latvia within T&L project worked as well coordinated joint project team.

One of the attraction points in the joint project T&L exhibition stand was Demonstration object - a vehicle made by the students themselves, fully operational and functioning! Both - young visitors and transport professionals showed a great interest in this "X-Ray" car, as all the parts, nodes and compounds were made visible, touchable and working! They had a good possibility to sit in the Demo car, make a photo and discuss perspectives of the transport and logistics sector with project representatives.
