Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development is performing Joint Managing Authority functions since beginning of 2011
Since 1st of January of 2011 the Ministry of the Environmental Protection and Regional Development is performing functions of the Programme Joint Managing Authority.
According to the Instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers Nr.676 from 22 November 2010 „About ensuring liquidation of The Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government of the Republic of Latvia”, Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government is incorporated in the Ministry of the Environment and a new institution is established from the 1st of January of 2011 – The Ministry of the Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
