Joint Technical Secretariat is looking for the Information Manager in Riga Office
Estonia - Latvia - Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme within European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013 is looking for an Information Manager to be employed in Riga in the Main Office of the Joint Technical Secretariat.

Required Qualification and Experience:
1.1. relevant University Degree;
1.2. excellent knowledge of Latvian and English languages, both – oral and written, knowledge of Estonian and Russian will be considered as advantage;
1.3. good knowledge of EU regional development policies and relevant legislation, in particular related to European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument;
1.4. good knowledge about EU (including PRAG) requirements towards publicity and information provisions will be considered as advantage;
1.5. awareness of Baltic Sea Region and Neighbourhood policies;
1.6. excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in Latvian and in English;
1.7. ability to work in multi-cultural environment;
1.8. computer literacy, basic graphic design skills;
1.9. minimum one year experience of preparation of public information in Latvian and in English as well as in public relations tasks;
1.10. experience in organizing international seminars or conferences;
1.11. experience with implementation of EU financed projects / programmes;
1.12. experience with basic office management and administrative tasks.
Terms of Employment and Selection
The Office Manager will legally be employed under the Latvian Labor Law by the State Regional Development Agency.
The employment is foreseen on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) for the period until end 2015. The successful candidate will be expected to commence the work at earliest convenience.
A competitive salary will be offered depending on the qualification and experience of the selected candidates.
