Joint Monitoring Committee discussed the closure of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia Programme
On 1-2 December 2016, the 11th meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 was held in St. Petersburg, Russia. The meeting was devoted to various aspects of Programme closure.
The session was chaired by Ms. Julia Koger, Adviser of European Territorial Cooperation Unit, Regional Development Instrument, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Estonia. Ms. Koger welcomed all the participants and expressed thanks to all JMC members for cooperation and support throughout the years of the Programme implementation.
During the meeting, reporting on overall progress of the Programme, including the implementation of projects, Information and Visibility Plan, Work Plan and financing issues of 2016 took place. The overview of audit activities in 2016, as well implementation of Audit Strategy was addressed during the meeting. Also, the Work Plan for 2017 was presented outlining the final Programme closure tasks.
