First Seminars on Reporting taking place in Latvia and Estonia
Projects supported within the 1st Call for Proposals are facing preparation and submission of their first implementation Reports. Nearly half from 25 supported Projects submitted their first Reports to the Joint Technical Secretariat. To make reporting process easier to everybody, general provisions on reporting, specific Narrative and Financial reporting aspects, as well as communication issues were presented by Latvian and Estonian speaking JTS staff and discussed during the first Reporting seminars for the beneficiaries and partners. Seminars took place in Riga, Latvia on 14 November and Tartu, Estonia on 15 November and will be followed by identical seminars in Russian in Pskov and St.Peterburg, Russia on 27 and 28 November, 2012.
Main interest from 70 participants of the Reporting seminar in Riga was traditionally focused on financial aspects, methodology of calculation of administrative costs, conditions to receive next payment, specific procurement issues, euro rates, possible changes between budget lines and calculation of vacation time for the Project staff, as well the use of Programme logo in bookkeeping documents.
In Reporting seminar in Tartu 30 participants asked questions about deadlines for approval of Minor Changes, planning of the financial flow in order to receive next payment, requirements for supporting documents, euro exchange rates related to business trips, use of Disclaimer on public documents produced by Project, placement of Commemorative Plaque.
