ECDay 2013 in St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University
On 17th September in the framework of the European Cooperation Day 2013 students and professors of St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University (including International Graduate School of Management and Institute of International Educational Programs) were introduced to the ENPI 2007-2013 Cross-border Cooperation Programs: Estonia-Latvia-Russia, South-East Finland-Russia, Karelia and Kolarctic.
The lecture was delivered by experienced cross border cooperation experts - Mr Georgiy Psarev – representative of South-East Finland-Russia Program in St.Petersburg, Ms Valentina Chaplinskaya – coordinator of Large Scale Projects along the Russian-Finnish border and Mr Sergey Balanev – representative of Estonia-Latvia-Russia Program in St.Petersburg.
The audience was introduced to the history of cross-border cooperation between Russia and western countries, state of play of the ongoing Programs within the framework of ENPI 2007-2013. Taking into consideration the composition of the attendants - bachelors and master programs students in International Relations, special interest was demonstrated to the preparation of the cross-border cooperation programs for 2014-2020.
