Celebrations of the European Cooperation Day 2013 begin!
“Sharing borders, growing closer” is the motto for the celebration of this spirit of cooperation throughout Europe and beyond EU borders. Estonia-Latvia-Russia Programme is organizing public tree planting activities in all programme participating countries to mark the European Cooperation Day 2013 and to leave a little green footprint in surrounding city environments. Public tree planting activities are going to be launched on 5 September at 11.00 in Dendropark near Mirozhsky monastery, Pskov, Russia. Please see the Programme. Also in Russian.

Estonia-Latvia-Russia Programme has supported 49 cross-border cooperation projects in current programming period 2007-2013.
Strategic feature of the European Cooperation Day is to improve the visibility of cross border and territorial cooperation as well as to disseminate its outcomes and to show its impacts on quality of life.
The first joint campaign - European Cooperation Day was organised in 2012 that brought together 70 ETC programmes and resulted in 281 events across 36 countries in Europe.
