Due to its technical condition, the BCP “Vientuļi” used to serve only passenger vehicles, however after reconstruction, the BCP will be able to serve also cargo transport.

Various on-site buildings were built (administrative building, deep inspection building,) auxiliary facilities developed (border and customs control pavilions, pavilions for checkpoints), as well as five traffic lanes for vehicles in each direction introduced fitted with the necessary basic equipment of border and customs control.

The reconstruction of the BCP “Vientuļi” was done using modern customs and border control technologies that complies with all current EU requirements for border crossing points.
