On 5 October in the frame of the project „Water environment protection and green lifestyle measures development in Latvia and Russia border regions (AQUA LIFE)” 10 project partners organized clean- up collectives in Latvia and Russia. The aim of the clean-up collectives was to improve environmental condition of the public water bodies in the project partner’s territories. It also marked the European Cooperation Day 2013. On Saturday, 12 October, the opening ceremony of Harbour pavilion took place in Rapina Harbour, Estonia. Räpina harbour pavilion was built in the frame of Large Scale Project of ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme 2007-2013 “Economically and Environmentally Sustainable Lake Peipsi area” (Common Peipsi). It is the first large scale infrastructure object in Estonia finalised within the Programme. Representatives of the JTS of the Programme, project- and cooperation partners from Estonia, Latvia and Russia were present among invited guests of the event and all interested people had opportunity to participate as well. В субботу 12 октября церемония открытия павильона гавани состоялась в Ряпине, Эстония. Павильон гавани в Ряпине был построен крупномасштабным проектом (КМП) Программы ПС Эстония-Латвия-Россия ЕИСП 2007-2013 “Economically and Environmentally Sustainable Lake Peipsi area” (Common Peipsi). Это первый крупный инфраструктурный объект в Эстонии, завершенный в рамках Программы. Представители СТС Программы, партнеров по проекту и по сотрудничеству из Эстонии, Латвии и России присутствовали  в числе приглашенных гостей этого события и все заинтересованные люди также могли принять участие. Implementing authorities of seven cross border cooperation Programmes with participation of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine as external partners have met for the Annual Meeting in Lilaste, Latvia on 8 October 2013. Representatives of each Programme presented its current state of play and best implementation practice was exchanged among Heads, Project Managers, Financial Experts and Information Managers. 26 сентября лесной парк Avinurme и игровая площадка были открыты проектом «Продвижение отдаленных территорий путем развития приграничного туристического маршрута на основе местных возможностей» (Via Hanseatica) в сельском муниципалитете Авинурме, Эстония.
В церемонии открытия парка приняли участие представители организации-строителя, финансирующей стороны, собственника объекта  и сельского муниципалитета Авинурме, а также дети из детского сада. Read more

On 26 September Avinurme wood park and playground were opened by the Project “Advancing remote areas by development of cross-border VH tourism route on basis of local resources” (Via Hanseatica) in Avinurme Rural Municipality, Estonia. 
The opening ceremony of the park was attended by the representatives of the builder, of the financier, of the owner of the property and of Avinurme Rural Municipality, and supported by children from a kindergarten. Read more

9 октября выставка «Рижский Политехникум, архив Nr. RP 1863-1899» была открыта в атриуме недавно реконструированного здания Факультета архитектуры и городского планирования Рижского технического университета (РТУ). Открытый семинар был совместно проведен проектом «Трансграничный Е-архив» и Рижским техническим университетом. Участникам были представлены сам проект, существующие документы, история РТУ и история высшего образования в Латвии в контексте научного и технического проекта. Это мероприятие было проведено в рамках Дня Европейского сотрудничества. Read more

3-4 октября второй обучающий семинар из серии тренингов посвященных вопросам развития местного самоуправления был проведен проектом «Поддержка развития местного самоуправления для улучшения качества жизни  в сельской местности» (LSG Development) в пилотном муниципалитете проекта – сельском поселении Шугозеро (Ленинградская область, Россия). Участниками тренинга были сельские старосты и их представители.
Тема тренинга «Самозанятость на селе через сельский туризм: организация гостевых домов» была выбрана на основе консультаций со старостами и представителями Администрации муниципалитета. Read more

On October 9 an exhibition „Riga Polytechnicum. File Nr. RP 1863–1899” was opened in the atrium of a newly renovated building of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Riga Technical University (RTU) and a public seminar was held jointly by the project „Cross border E-archive” and the Riga Technical University. The audience was introduced with the project, exhibited documents, the history of RTU and the history of higher education in Latvia in the context of scientific and technological progress. The event took place in the framework of European Cooperation Day. Read more
