30 January 2012 2nd Call Information seminars and Open Days from 30 January till 3 February 2012

The 2nd Restricted Call for Proposals of the Estonia – Latvia – Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 within European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument has been launched on 10 January 2012. Information seminars and consultations are organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat according to approved schedule till 11 February 2012. Next seminars will take place on 31 January in St.Petersburg (Russia) and 2 February  in Rakvere (Estonia). Attention  - on 6 February all potential applicants and partners from Russia are invited to attend RCBI (Regional Capacity Building Iniciative) seminar „Project preparation workshop” in St.Petersburg (Russia), which will be preformed in Russian.  All presentations of already performed Information seminars are available here.

23 January 2012 Grant contract for 1 568 104,80 euro of the Programme co-financing countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and Municipality of Narva, Department for City Property and Economy (Estonia)

The Municipality of Narva, Department for City Property and Economy (Estonia) together with a partner from Russian Federation  -  Administration of Municipal Formation “City Ivangorod, Kingisepp district, Leningrad oblast” (Russia) with involvement of 4 Associated partners will realize cross-border tourism development  project „Development of historical riverside protection area in Narva/Estonia and Ivangorod/Russia - II stage” under the Priority 1 – Socio economic development, Measure 1.3 – Tourism development.

18 January 2012 KEEP - Transfer of Knowledge

Data about the 1st Call Projects of the ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia cross border cooperation programme resently has been published in KEEP data base. KEEP is conceived as an online tool and internet portal that utilises, capitalises and ensures the transfer of the knowledge of both INTERACT and European Territorial Cooperation programme information and gives an overview of 2000-2006 INTERREG / 2007-13 European Territorial Cooperation projects as this information is only stored at Programme level. ENPI programmes are gradually joining KEEP. Read more

17 January 2012 Grant contract for 259 015, 20 euro of the Programme co-financing countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and the Education, Culture and Sports Department of Riga City Council (Latvia) Grant contract for 259 015, 20 euro of the Programme co-financing countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and the Education, Culture and Sports Department of Riga City Council (Latvia)

The Education, Culture and Sports Department of Riga City Council together with 4 partners from Russian Federation will realize cross-border „people to people” project „Creating access to the art of photography for young people with disabilities” under the Priority 3 - “Promotion of people to people cooperation”, Measure 3.2.  – Cooperation in spheres of culture, sport, education, social and health care. Grant Contract for the total budget of the project 293 028,00 euro from the side of the Riga City Council was signed by the Head of School Division Ms Modra Jansone.

13 January 2012 Grant contract for 1 980 060,30 euro of the Programme co-financing countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and the Räpina Municipality Government (Estonia)

Räpina Municipality Government together with 2 partners from Pechory (Russian Federation)  -  Administration of Pechory District and Municipal culture institution „Culture centre of the Pechory District and Vilaka Municipal Council (Latvia) - will realize cross-border infrastructure investment project „Development of the centres for culture and creative industries in Räpina, Vilaka and Pechory” under the Priority 2 - “Common challenges”, Measure 2.2 – Preservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage and support of local traditional skills. 5 January 2012 3rd Programme’s Newsletter published

Additional edition of the Programme’s Newsletter covering the period of the second half of the year 2011 and focusing on activities in the fourth quarter of the year 2011 has been produced by the Joint Technical Secretariat in December 2011. Read more

2 January 2012 8 Grant Contracts signed till the end of the year 2011

Between Christmas and the New Year another Grant Contract for 1 513 633, 68 euro of the Programme co-financing has been countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and the Latgale Planning Region (Latvia). Cross-border tourism development project „Tour de Latgale and Pskov” was accepted under the Priority 1 - socio-economic development, Measure 1.3 - Tourism development. Read more
