Joint Technical Secretariat in cooperation with INTERACT (Project funded by the European Union) and RCBI (Regional Capacity Building Iniciative project) is organizing seminars for Beneficiaries and partners of projects accepted during the 1st Call for Proposals. The purpose of the seminar is to introduce Beneficiaries and partners in detail with Programme requirements in order to ensure smooth reporting and overall implementation of the Project.

The 2nd Restricted Call for Proposals of the Estonia – Latvia – Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 within European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument has been launched on 10 January 2012. Information seminars and consultations are organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat according to approved schedule till 11 February 2012. Next seminars will take place on 31 January in St.Petersburg (Russia) and 2 February in Rakvere (Estonia). Attention - on 6 February all potential applicants and partners from Russia are invited to attend RCBI (Regional Capacity Building Iniciative) seminar „Project preparation workshop” in St.Petersburg (Russia), which will be preformed in Russian. Data about the 1st Call Projects of the ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia cross border cooperation programme resently has been published in KEEP data base. KEEP is conceived as an online tool and internet portal that utilises, capitalises and ensures the transfer of the knowledge of both INTERACT and European Territorial Cooperation programme information and gives an overview of 2000-2006 INTERREG / 2007-13 European Territorial Cooperation projects as this information is only stored at Programme level. The Education, Culture and Sports Department of Riga City Council together with 4 partners from Russian Federation will realize cross-border „people to people” project „Creating access to the art of photography for young people with disabilities” under the Priority 3 - “Promotion of people to people cooperation”, Measure 3.2. – Cooperation in spheres of culture, sport, education, social and health care. Grant Contract for the total budget of the project 293 028,00 euro from the side of the Riga City Council was signed by the Head of School Division Ms Modra Jansone.
