Projects supported within the 1st Call for Proposals are facing preparation and submission of their first implementation Reports. Nearly half from 25 supported Projects submitted their first Reports to the Joint Technical Secretariat. To make reporting process easier to everybody, general provisions on reporting, specific Narrative and Financial reporting aspects, as well as communication issues were presented by Latvian and Estonian speaking JTS staff and discussed during the first Reporting seminars for the beneficiaries and partners. Seminars took place in Riga, Latvia on 14 November and Tartu, Estonia on 15 November and will be followed by identical seminars in Russian in Pskov and St.Peterburg, Russia on 27 and 28 November, 2012. Many meaningful phrases, facts and results were presented during the Annual Event of the Programme under the theme „Cross Border Cooperation. Advancing Partnership. Bridging Together.”, which on 31 October 2012 for the first time took place in Estonia in cross border town Narva with real border crossing to Ivangorod in Russia. First year of real Project implementation brings lots of valuable experiences and attractive actions that make Programme results visible. Read more

Grant Contract for 8, 3 million euro of ENPI Estonia-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme co-financing has been countersigned with the Estonian Ministry of the Interior in Tallinn (Estonia). Large Scale Project “Economically and Environmentally Sustainable Lake Peipsi area” will substantially contribute to the environmental situation of the Lake Peipsi basin. Read more

Annual Event of the Programme gathered about 160 participants from Estonia, Latvia and Russia on 31 October 2012 in brand new built Narva College of the University of Tartu building in Narva. Honoured speakers as Mr Siim Kiisler, Minister for Regional Affairs at the Estonian Ministry of Interior, Ms Dace Grūberte, the Head of the Joint Managing Authority of the Programme and Mr Alexander Tsybulskiy, the Head of Department for International Relations and Cross Border Cooperation of the Ministry of regional Development of the Russian Federation opened the Event with a friendly hand shake.  Mr Siim Kiisler stressed “I am glad that the Programme has been able to support different joint activities from grass-root level to strategic infrastructure projects making the joint border area an attractive place for its inhabitants, businesses, visitors and investors.”

22 October 2012 Programme well represented at the INTERACT ENPI Annual Conference

Annual Conference of INTERACT ENPI Project gathered EU and its Partnercountries cooperating within ENPI in Dead Sea, Jordan on 16-17 October 2012. Preparation of ENI CBC 2014 – 2020 was in a focus of discussions. Presentations included Facts and Figures of the present ENPI CBC period and reflections of the European Cooperation Day. Estonia-Latvia-Russia Programme was among two Programmes invited to present the approach chosen and results achieved during the first European Cooperation Day. Read more

On October 9 and 10 a two-day kick-off seminar of the project „Cross Border E-archive” took place in the EU House in Riga, Latvia. Event was hosted by the beneficiary of the project – state agency “Culture Information Systems” and was the first large scale meeting of all partners (Culture Information Systems (Latvia), “Ideju Forums” (Latvia), the National Archives of Latvia (Latvia), the National Archives of Estonia (Estonia) and Saint-Petersburg Information and Analytical Centre (Russia)) and archive experts involved in the implementation of the project.

On 31 October Estonia-Latvia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme will hold its Annual Event in Narva (Estonia). Event is organized as the Conference and the Site Visit to Projects, which have started their implementation in two border cities Narva and Ivangorod by the end of 2011 and beginning 2012. Main aim of the Event is to promote cross border cooperation and the existent results of the Programme via introduction to several Projects and exchange of experience on practical implementation issues, as well to strengthen existing partnerships in already supported and future Projects. For the first time the participants and visitors of the V Saint-Petersburg International Innovation Forum got the possibility to familiarise themselves with works and innovative Projects of five ENPI Programmes cooperating with Russian Federation.
Joint Exhibition stand, as well the Conference attracted wide audience of the Forum and was organized in the framework of the European Cooperation Day as Programme's Key Action in Russian Federation on 26-27 September 2012.   Read more

„Two cities – Two Friends” - Narva River riversides near Narva (Estonia) and Ivangorod (Russia) fortresses ensemble on 21 September 2012 gathered local public for celebrities of the European Cooperation Day! Friendship balloons and paper floats were let into the air and water to have a simbolic unification of greetings to each other from other side of the broder!

Celebration of the European Cooperation Day week in our Programme continues and on 22 September introduction to the new Catalogue with tourism routes "Families with Children" and "National Cuisine" took place near Limbazi (Latvia). While parents were occupied with preparations for participation in Tourism Exhibitions in 2013 within Project "Enjoy the best in Latvia, Estonia and Russia!", their children participated in several workshops - making cookies and European Cooperation Day cake, as well an owl and a house where owl can live.
