8 Grant Contracts signed till the end of the year 2011

Between Christmas and the New Year another Grant Contract for 1 513 633, 68 euro of the Programme co-financing has been countersigned by the JMA of the Programme and the Latgale Planning Region (Latvia). Cross-border tourism development project „Tour de Latgale and Pskov” was accepted under the Priority 1 - socio-economic development, Measure 1.3 - Tourism development.


The project „Tour de Latgale and Pskov” is aimed to develop cooperation and establish permanent network in tourism sector among Latgale Region and Pskov Region in order to increase recognisability of both regions in the European Union and Russia.


Latgale Planning Region will implement it together with partners from Pskov (Russia) - State Committee of Tourism, Investment and Spacial Development of Pskov Region and Pskov Tourism Development Centre. Total budget of the project is 1 681 815, 20 euro.
