6th Meeting of the Joint Programming Committee of the Estonia – Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020

The meeting was chaired by Mr Priidu Ristkok, Head of Regional Development department of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Estonia and co-chaired by Ms Angelina Stebakova, Advisor of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Participants of the meeting were representatives of St.Petersburg city, Leningrad and Pskov Regions, Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Russia, Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Estonia, Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Estonia, Regional Delegates from South-Estonia and East-Estonia, the European Commission and INTERACT ENPI.


 

 

 


In the course of the meeting discussion about the draft of the Joint Operational Programme of the Estonia – Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 was carried out. Overview about the principles and current stage of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) was presented by expert of Hendrikson & Ko Mr Heikki Kalle. The draft document, SEA Scoping Report has been published on the website of Estonia-Latvia-Russia Programme and is expected to be approved in spring 2015.



Discussions were held about functions of the Audit and control Structures of the Programme. Timetable for further activities was considered and set. The draft Programme Document for Estonia-Russia Programme 2014-2020 is planned to be introduced to the public in spring 2015.


The next JPC meeting of Estonia- Russia CBC Programme will take place in Estonia in March 2015.
