21 SEPTEMBER 2012 - European Cooperation Day!

European Cooperation Day is a Celebration Day! Celebration of sucessfull cooperation among countries all over Europe and with its closest neighbours on the external borders. It is one concept, one brand and one visual identity, which will be shared by many events.


Already 74 Programmes confirmed participation in the European Cooperation Day and very diverse public events will take place in almost 40 countries. Projects will show their achievements and works to the Local communities. Europe will show cooperation on 21 September 2012 under the slogan Sharing borders, growing closer!

Stories are telling about 6 Projects of the Estonia-Latvia-Russia ENPI CBC Programme and are promoted via website of the European Cooperation Day:
In Estonia:
- Development of unique Narva-Ivangorod fortresses ensemble and Surrounding Area;
In Latvia:
- Increasing traffic system’s capability within EE-LV-RU international importance transport corridors;
In Russia:
- Baltic ICT Platform.

PROMOTIONAL PROJECTS:

In Estonia
"Development of the centres for culture and creative industries in Räpina, Vilaka and Pechory” – description in ENGLISH and RUSSIAN;
In Latvia
"Advancing remote areas by development of cross-border VH tourism route on basis of local resources" – description in ENGLISH, LATVIAN and RUSSIAN;
In Russia
„Creating access to the art of photography for young people with disabilities” – description in ENGLISH, RUSSIAN and LATVIAN.

AT LEAST 20 PROJECTS INVOLVED
At least 20 Projects will participate in the European Cooperation Day on 21 September and during whole September of this year. Projects will organize interactive events for their local communities. Most of them are published in www.ecday.eu


ENPI CBC cooperating with Russia
ENPI CBC cooperating with Russia will jointly participate in the St.Petersburg International Innovation Forum with the thematic Conference, following Press Conference and Exhibition stand on 26-27 September 2012.

Baltic States
Programmes operating in Baltic States will participate in organizing Project Open Days.
