Short description of the event
St. Petersburg State Transport University associate professor Mikhail Pimonenko, PhD, will give a lecture in logistics. The lecture will dwell on transport and logistics development in St Petersburg and North-West Russia area as well as tuch collaboration possibilities of North-West Russia with Estonia and Latvia.
Professor Pimonenko will give his lecture to the students of logistics of Valga County Vocational Training Centre and the whole event will be seen live over the Internet at tv.vkok.ee under Live Streaming. It is the first experiment of the kind that Valga County Vocational Training Centre is trying to carry through within the framework of the LogOnTrain project supported by the Estonian-Latvia-Russia CBC Programme.
In addition to the LogOnTrain project network, this lecture broadcast will be attended by several transport, logistics and freight-forwarding students of vocational school of Estonia and Latvia as well as other interested people in the branch.

Mr Mikhail Pimonenko is professor of logistics and transport in Petersburg State Transport University. He gives lectures and practical training classes in freight forwarding, supply chains and other related subjects. Professor Pimonenko has published over 50 scientific articles and studies.
He is also director of North-Western Russia Logistics Development and Information Centre ILOT where several Saint Petersburg logistics and transport companies and researchers are engaged. ...
