Short description of the event
The Project "Cross border athletics" (CBA) will organize International athletic competition in Porkhov, Russia. It is planned to involve 60 children and young people from Porhov and Smiltene in the competitions within three age groups. In competition days are planned various athletics disciplines: sprints 60m, 4x100m relay, long jump, shot put, 600m race (girls), 800m race (boys), ball throw. Competition will help new judges to test their skills. The aim is to launch a long-term cooperation between local sports schools for children and youth in physical fitness and to improve Smiltenes county and Prohovas area, using both nation's experience and resources. This event includes learning about sport and culture traditions of partner countries
